To all of our volunteers a special thank you - we couldn't do it without you.
Over the last few years, OSB Events have become one of the most successful multi-sport event promoters in the UK. This is largely because of the outstanding contributions and commitments from our event crew volunteers. The ‘family’ feel that is created on race day and beyond, is something that is truly unique to OSB Events.
Each year, many of our competitors, officials and event staff express tremendous thanks and appreciation for the dedication, level of enthusiasm and professionalism that our volunteers exhibit throughout the event season.
With over 25 years of experience in event organisation, we know that the people involved are what make our events successful. We truly care and appreciate every person who helps to make our events what they are. This is why so many of our volunteers and officials return year after year.
We are always looking to expand our team of enthusiastic, friendly and reliable people to ensure the easy going yet professional ‘feel’ of our races continue. If this is something that interests you, we would love for you to join us!
Whether you want to work on one specific race, or every race of the season, that is up to you. Whatever time you can give, can and will help to make a great event!
Our fantastic volunteers create a safe and fun environment for athletes to compete in, whilst having lots of fun themselves!
We challenge you to spend one day working on an event. The sense of accomplishment that comes after being part of something that is truly appreciated by the athletes is fantastic, and keeps our crew coming back time and time again.
Don’t forget, we’re a team. We pride ourselves in the sense of camaraderie that is created whilst working at our events, and you’re guaranteed to make lots of friends and meet lots of like-minded people!
All of our volunteers receive event crew kit throughout the season, with some extra goodies thrown in for good measure at the bigger events such as the Outlaw!
Jokingly referred to as ‘the fourth emergency service’ we make sure that there is enough food and drink to keep all our volunteers fed and watered to keep gowing through the day.
Roles available at OSB Events races are varied and change from event to event. These include:
Why not volunteer with a group of friends, workmates, triathlon club or community group? We often have clubs running their own feed stations at events!
Alternatively, come along, join the team and meet some new friends. If you are already planning on watching a friend or family member, why not get involved and offer your services for a few hours.
To register your details or for more information contact us via the form above indicating which event(s) you are interested in.
We look forward to hearing from you, and thank you for helping to ensure the safety of competitors and success of OSB Events!
