Based on requests from aspiring Outlaws, we have made a New Year payment plan available, which is live on our website now. The option allows you to pay half of the entry fee by the end of February, and the second half by the end of April. This will ensure that you guarantee your place on the start line now ahead of the race in Nottingham on 29 July.
To take advantage of this plan, simply go to the Outlaw Triathlon web page (http://www.osbevents.com/events/triathlon/outlaw-triathlon/) and select the ‘Enter Now’ option.
New Year Payment Plan:
Payment 1: £150 + booking fee by 28 February 2018 – non-refundable
Payment 2: £149 by 30 April 2018 - refundable up to 2 July
The Outlaw was first launched in 2010 and has received remarkably positive feedback every year since. It’s won awards from 220 Triathlon, British Triathlon, Triathlon England East Midlands and others, but that doesn’t mean we don’t continually try to improve it. We hope our 2018 event will retain all of the things competitors love, and improve things where we can to retain Outlaw’s position as Britain’s best-loved Long Distance race.
The Outlaw starts with an out-and-back lake swim, followed by a 112mile flat bike ride, which can be windy, but is ideal for time trial bikes and putting your head down to find some speed. The 26.2mile run is along the River Trent path and brings you back into the main event venue, the National Water Sports Centre, several times so that your family and friends can cheer you all the way to the finishing line.
Speaking of family and friends, we are one of the few events that has gained approval for children to accompany you down the finishing carpet. We know that completing the Outlaw will require dedication and some sacrifices, so we want your family to be part of your big moment when you cross the finishing line.
