The sixth Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon is all set to take place on 5 March 2017, with the race start taking place on Midsummer Common, as in previous years.

The Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon began in 2012 with 3000 competitors, in 2016 the course was revised to include a single loop, which meant it was able to grow to 7000 competitors. The event in 2017 is set to be the biggest and best yet with 9000 entries available.

The Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon has sold out in record time in previous years and we expect it to be no different this year as demand for city centre half marathons grow.

The Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon consistently gets fantastic reviews and feedback, with 98% of people who filled in the post race survey in 2016 saying they would race the Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon again. The registration process, value for money, pre event information, medal, new course, overall atmosphere, results & timing and overall organisation all scored in between 'excellent' and 'good'.

Competitors will receive all the elements you would expect from a high profile city centre running event, including online registration, chip timing, UKA certified distance, on course entertainment, professional event medical cover, high quality medals and goodie bags!

We hope to see you on the start line for what is set to be the biggest and best Saucony Cambridge Half Marathon to date!

The Course

Since 2016, the course has been a new one-lap loop starting on Victoria Avenue, with Midsummer Common being the main event hub. It heads through the centre of Cambridge; past the Round Church, Kings College, Fitzwilliam Museum and along The Backs. The new section sees the runners head out of the city along Trumpington Road, through Grantchester and back into the city along the Barton Road.
